Current Water Projects Minimize

- Mt. Clare Rd. Upgrade

About 19,960 ft. of 8" line will replace AC line from the early 1960's. About 600 ft. of other size line will be replaced and the existing booster station will be upgraded. The project will also install 3 leak detection meters and 4 master meters to help with water loss in the area.

- Capacity/Reserve Upgrade - Lost Creek Tank

A new 762,000 gallon water tank, and new water booster station will be installed for the LCMC system.

 The total cost of these projects should be around $2,100,000.

Current Wastewater Projects Minimize

IN PROGRESS

- Rt. 76 Area

This project consists of 7,625 ft. of force main line, one new lift station, 2,950 ft. of 8" gravity line, 8 manholes and upgrades to an existing lift station. The total cost should be around $1,035,000. This project was necessary to bring that area of the county in compliance with the WV DEP Consent order No. 5147 issued to the Lakeland Improvement Association and conveyed to Greater Harrison County PSD.

Upgrade to Bridgeport's Booster Station to accept the sewage from this area

Started sending sewage to Bridgeport on August 20, 2009 for treatment

 PROJECT COMPLETE AS OF FEBRUARY, 2010
